Just to clarify, when Lachlan Rose played for McArthur bulls they was also another L Rose (Liam) playing for them so Lachlan had LA added on the back of his shirt . When he went to Newcastle Jets he kept the LA so basically just a wank.

The Championship, beyond this year, will align with the NPL and grassroots football ie: February to September. When it comes time to integrate the A-League into the pyramid adjustments will have to be made. It’s a start but there’s still a long way to go.

The planned ‘ champions league’ format will fit between the A-League and NPL this year but when it moves to a home and away season will need 20 plus weeks to complete.

I don’t think they can schedule it any other way unless they play weekdays but that will, almost certainly, not happen.
