You are the one who said there is plenty of depth and we don’t need the experienced players. The lists you gave are using the same players that are in the Matildas for the current tournament. We do have up and coming players but not playing at the level where they can replace the current squad.

If depth is not a problem then name me a team that we can put out for a tournament such as this current one whilst leaving out our most experienced players.

That’s the point, no one is prepared pay outrageous fees to participate. Just look at the situation with Newcastle and Perth. Admittedly they did find a billionaire with more money than sense but they are few and far between.

Since the Championship hasn’t yet started so it’s a bit fanciful to write it off. The A League, as it stands, has run its race. ‘The winds of change are blowing’. 🤫

I very much doubt if there will be any expansion, if there is it won’t be anyone paying millions to participate.
