Any NPL followers have any funny / interesting stories they can share, the more amateur, corrupt and calamitous the better...
e.g. Nelly Yoa, Bergers fan getting married on the field before the game only for his team to loose, the C.T. departure, Clement Tito, Karagounis Oakleigh Cannons drama, Drogba to South, Robert de Rosa, Roberto Carlos to South, just to name a few...
Do any of the more senior NPL goers remember a older referee bit flamboyant, out of shape, look liked he was plucked from league 2 in the early 80's? From what I could gather from the reactions of the South spectators he had been around the block (VPL stalwart?). Worst referee I have ever seen in my life, randomly during some midfield action he decided to give one the goalies a free kick a meter to the right of his box ... strange. I want to say around 2017, maybe the season before C.T. left. Would love to know if anyone remembers who he is.
