Sign Up Now!A pretty standard share market investment article. All very sage and nothing outlandish, except of course the deceptive headline. The amount of $248,022 (an amazingly precise number shown in the headline) that an everyday Aussie can make is after an investment timeframe of 40 years (a long time frame not mentioned in the headline).![]()
Financial expert reveals how ASX crash could make everyday Aussies $248,022: 'Simple'
There are four principals to consider when approaching investing in a crashing market, which could turn $5,000 into double the average Australian wage.au.finance.yahoo.com
Oh never read the headlines. They are pure clickbait.A pretty standard share market investment article. All very sage and nothing outlandish, except of course the deceptive headline. Turning misery into dollar cost averaging, I like it.Also a fun game I do, is I match my investment to my mates' gambling losses. There is a chance I may be a multi-millionaire by the end of the year. Stay tuned.
Dropped over a k on etf's. The portfolio expands. The plan is to expand each part of my portfolio to 5k then to 10k and so on whilst also investing in housing. I would really like to have a third house or property in the next 5 to 7 years.
Plan on it boss when I buy a managed portfolio. The plan says that will be a year or so away.Make sure you hit the 'reinvestment' option. This is your 'compound interest'. Or as Warren Buffet said the '8th wonder of the world'.

You get it. Living like a king!Turning misery into dollar cost averaging, I like it.
I'm invested in Crypto now. Absolute waste of time and effort at this stage although the interface makes it feel cool but it's way too high risk. Especially at this stage.
cool story broWell they say Bitcoin will be worth a million by 2030.
I wish I had the kahunas to put money in it.
I thought it was dead and buried when I was looking at it a couple years ago. It was $16k and dropped to $4k and I went that's too volatile for me
Look at it now.
The dodginess makes things better.I have had to use it recently to get money back and forth from overseas. In the past when getting some cash to or from people I was using Payoneer or stuff like that in places where PayPal is banned/doesn't do business. Crypto has made that easier however I don't really use it to invest and know farkall about bitcoin etc besides buying, transfer for direct payments
It's largely unregulated here, with those atms a haven for dodgy payments that are not tracked. Want to move more than 10k, that's the way people do it.
Start small and build. Have a plan and diversify.Well they say Bitcoin will be worth a million by 2030.
