World Cup Qualification Thread for 2026 - Socceroos/Asia

Hopefully this becomes a new omen for us (and me) and repping this from now on and in the future for the final qualification rounds, as a reminder of how much worse things could be.

Only thing that would trump this for me would be a 1997 version

That's assuming they got scouted out of the NSL. It's not the 80s and 90s anymore. Your dreaming if you think now is the same as then
 
There was the error we were waiting for. I’d say Borello should’ve shot, but I’m sure he would have missed just as badly as Behich did.

That's one bloke. In any case the A League teams towel up the NSL sides almost every time they meet in the Australia cup.

I'm not saying the A league is a roaring success, it clearly isn't, but you're dreaming if you think the NSL supplanting it would make Australian football better overall.
