They've lived not as humans or citizens, but as slaves. They've never experienced freedom. They've had their every moment, controlled and dictated to them. Just today, it was reported in an Israeli paper that the IDF were ordered to open fire on people lining up for aid. Can you understand why they might have such a view. When you've lived for more than 70 years under oppressive systematic apartheid and genocide, you can't expect them to think highly of Israel and the Zionist (remember, it's Zionism not Jews, the Hamas charter clarified this in 2007 if not mistaken) movement, and talk about them in nice tones.

I'm not naive. I'm quite sure that I understand my religion and it's teaching better than people who've never studied it nor understand it.

Islam has been the target of hate for decades. Heck, we have politicians in our parliament that opens spout Islamic hate and vitriol, and then get elected. You want Muslims to sit quietly and acquiesce. Less than 1% of Muslims are extremists. But sure, label the whole religion as being the way you want your bias to.

Muslins have always condemned violence, but because it never fits the narrative, you'll keep saying we never do.

Originally Hamas was founded in the early days of the first Intifada uprising in 1987, founded to liberate Palestine. An offshoot of the Palestinian Muslim Brotherhood.

But one of the problem's with the modern Hamas is that most of their current members are not even ethnic Palestinians. They are Johnny come lately's who were hoofed out of other Sunni terror groups like ISIS, Jamaat Nusrat Al-Islam wal Muslimeen and Al-Shabaab when those groups were defeated ot drummed down in their particular terrorist operations.

They have drifted into Gaza because there was nowhere else for them to go. Their goal isnt so much the liberation of Palestine but to kill Jewish people. This is first and foremost in their ambitions.

My criticism has never been with the 2 million or so Palestinians but with the 50,000 members of Hamas. Well 25,000 now.....
