Another facet is gender.

It isn’t a good reflection of us as mainly blokes, driving away one of the few females who post on G and G.

I don’t think we’ve managed to bring Chondro from IS with us? At least we have Rebellious Feminist posting regularly on G and G.

It would be good to recruit more women to G and G, particularly if they follow football or cricket.
 
I'm sure all believe the more the merrier D but the recent one who departed I watched and responded in some discussion, it seriously was a over reaction there was no malace but the question of multi that was taken as an offense if I recall correctly and the mention of being stalked was not as it seemed that I could see and in the end it all could have been cleared up if you stayed around instead of walking out.
Anyway we move on.

Agreed but have no idea from the posts what caused the heavy accusation of stalker. I checked every one of her 24 posts to see if there was anything untoward in the replies. I might of missed something but to be honest it seemed she was just being a jerk out of no where to rimb

I thought maybe there were dms that explained the reaction but apparently not. Obviously i might have missed something and we are always learning but to be honest my current impression is that rimb was the one that was wronged?

That Jessiesgirl was a troll or a multi- manufacturing conflict when none existed.

As for the cricket thread, very few people post there- this is a football forum. The cricket forum on 442 attracted weirdos who weren't interested in football. Let's recruit more football people!

Over time I’ve never seen RIMB ever post anything controversial or out of order.

He is probably a model poster. So it is perplexing if someone accused him of deviant behaviour.

I’ve been PMed and asked about other specific posters’ general demeanor - not RMIB’s.

One would have expected some of the Anarchy misogynists to be named - but they weren’t.

Most of the cricket posters on G and G follow football as well.

Cricket is the second most popular global sport after football.

Any way we attract more posters to G and G the better IMO. Until reading this thread I hadn’t realised so many G and G visitors were spambots - according to Pasquali.

It is more a question of gender - and - according to a PM I received, that JG was a legit account. If Pasquali has some sort of evidence JG is/was bogus, or a multi, I accept his word.

I believe it is paramount G and G keeps growing. Do you agree?

If you do, how best do you think we should grow the forum, Ashtongate?

Recruit football people, not cricket weirdos.
 
Not wanting to start a new thread, or not being able to find the right thread, the Fan View concept, is an excellent idea!

Not sure how it was conceived, or who conceived it? Both Rebellious Feminist and Mono have written two quality, concise articles on football.

I think I can attract more posters through this feature.

Is the topic of cricket off topic in Fan View? We have a former journo on here, who knows a lot about cricket.
