From Ryan McDonald in The Daily Record, in about the 83rd minute. Is this the same moment as your 83rd minute comment?Tilio Watch:
Tilio came on as a sub when the 2nd unit was brought on en masse in the 67th minute for Celtic vs Sporting.
His movement and work-rate were extremely poor and didn't gain his first touch of the ball until the 83rd minute, a poorly weighted pass which broke down a Celtic attack.
His next involvement was a foul he committed in the 85th minute.
He didn't get his second touch of the ball (a poor first touch) until the 93rd minute just prior to the final whistle blowing.
Most of the time the A-league star stood stationary out wide on the right while the play was going on in the midfield and seemed out of step with proceedings. His fullback opponent consistently beat him to the ball with superior athleticism and positioning.
Making his Marc
Fringe man Marco Tilio almost produces a brilliant assist as he skips his way through the Sporting CP defence. But his through ball to Johnny Kenny is just about cleared away.
Celtic fans haven't seen much of Tilio but the pint-sized attacker is a bundle of energy going forward.
He just lacks that quality end product.
