I can't watch any of this stuff anymore man... I saw a clip last night of Mo arriving at first training and it just made me sooo sad..... 28 years old and top of the world, to be gone just like that? ... what a waste...
 
Lets move on pre season is upon us.........
The prep on looking to retain the title has been one of the best shopping I've seen in years after the last few of keeping costs down.
Its been a motza and wow the signings have such promise, not over yet by the look of it.
IN: Frimpong (£30M), Kerkez(£40M), Wirtz(£100M), Mamardashvili(£25M),Ekitike (£70M).

OUT: Kelleher (£13M), Quansah(£30M), Trent(£8M), Phillips(£3M).

We've had 2 warm up games so far.
The Preston game was a huge emotional one for all as expected, fitting pre and post game tributes Thankyou Preston might I add.
3nil.
Next we had a behind closed doors game vs Stoke, 5nil win.

Now we are on the asia tour of HK and Japan.
Vsing ACMilan then Yokohama.

July 26: AC Milan (Hong Kong)
July 30: Yokohama FM (Yokohama, Japan)
August 1: Adidas kit launch
August 4: Athletic Club (H; 2 games)
August 10: Crystal Palace (Community Shield)
August 15 Opening game vs. Bournemouth (H)
September 1: Transfer window closes

The pre-season. Be careful LFC, the NPL followers will not be happy with you.

But yes very impressive signings for the premiers.

Buying well is one thing as we know, delivering through the season we will wait and see.

exactly pre-season in Europe, mid to late season in Australia depending on what state you are in :)

It's quite simple you go into the UEFA tab, which we are in. This is the off season.
If it's the NPL tab, we are in season.
If its the A-League tab it's the off season.

If you talking Australian football vs European football in regard to the top tier competition, it's both in the off season.

No Im talking Australian Football vs European football which is definitely, as I said pre-season in Europe, mid to late season in Australia depending on what state you are in

The fate of 10 (soon to be 9) foreign franchises has NOTHING to do with the thousands of clubs in Australia currently playing.

The A-League is still the premier footballing competition in Australia, the best players from Australia moving to foreign clubs all come from A-league clubs.

Sure if that what you BELIEVE it to be why not.... Premier actually means the first amongst a list of others. EPL as an example is the highest linked league in Engand for football that a club can rise to... its first in importance compared to the other leagues below it. and so its called Premier rightfully.

How many leagues is this Aleague thing you are talking about the "premier" of? NONE, its a stand alone unit.... and always will be. Should be called the franchise super league.
