NPL 2025

I think only players up to 21 can play for them.

Though they have the luxury of if a player is injured the can bring players in from their a league squad that meet requirements.

They can drop them in anytime they want really.

Apparently at the NPL Gold medal night if you drank in the first hour everytime they mentioned oakleigh you'd have the comprehension skills of some npl officials.

Points id say nothing since its not a club
Oakleigh bundoora football vic definitely no corruption, favouritism conflict of interest cannons have some sort of issue with.
welcome to the farce that is Football Victoria....

Yeah so thats for the women.

the 12k or so could not possibly be for the men. Last figure i remember seeing is about 46k or so.
Shit sorry .. like I said quick google search and that poped up forst... :) even still $46k isnt that much. Still means a 19 year old needs a second occupation as well as playing football...

Despite living for the passion these very rivalries bring to our game, lets hope/pray that given the importance of this season, we dont give ALL those hoping we fail too much ammunition... bc i can read the "pro efnik cleansing" headlines already trying to kill the NST... and most will come from aleague affiliates im sure of it!!

Three red cards in the Bulleen vs WU match.

Altona v victory was meh

Crowd was ok mostly neutrals coming in for a look.

Victory coaches and parents still the same with the old

They're just kids etc etc

well don't play in a men's comp then
Exactly. Play state 5 U18's. If these kids want to make a career in this sport, being at a pro club you have to harden up. Magic were up for a fight and I loved that. Victory boys were too timid. They aren't going to punch you.

I never got their logic. Like any a league player will go easy because they're a "kid"

The 23 for Victory looked good on the ball but went down like a sack of spuds any chance he got.

The #4 cb was solid as well

Cant read too much into it as it's Rd 1 but a draw was a fair result

It is fair to be critical at any stage where pro football is on the cards. It's the only way to grow. U16 NT and up, being critical is fair enough. You want this, how badly?

Because it's only going to get worse.

Knights vs Burgers? Preston vs Hume? Croat derby? No, Avondale vs Cannons won match of the round. If it isn't obvious enough...

Oakleigh Soccer Club to be awarded the Melbourne South Eastern Suburbs (limited too but including all areas within Warrigal Rd, North Rd, Huntigndale Rd and Princess Hwy) Team of the Century .... its gonna be a star studded affair at Nikos Cakes...
