Australia u20 qualify for the world cup

So so happy. Feel free the rename to the official tournament thread at some point and we can get all the squad potentials, travel etc in. I like tournaments having a thread to look back on more easily.
 
Players born between 1 January 2005 and 31 December 2009 (inclusive) are eligible to compete in the tournament.
 
Some teams already in specific pots. Draw around late June.

Yeah I just checked, this is the same date range for both tournaments. Good to know the boys who played tonight are still eligible for the WC.

the dark ages have started to lift

it was only after we made back to back semi finals in the u20 world cup that europe started raiding our league and academies for transfers. It was actually the generations after that vanguard that had succesful club careers and made up the golden generation
 
Bask in the glory and let the squad discussions begin. I say we go for broke and arrange to pick every best eligible player we have. We have to use this chance.
