I'm curious whether there has been an opinion piece in a newspaper of similar tone and sentiment. Not hand in hand the same but not apples to oranges either and not even about the Matildas. Maybe something about our swimmers or netballers. In the end each organisation will make their decision so a newspaper editor may just think running it and getting the reaction is worth it. Triple M has certainly set an example here and others will be wary with their take.

This is the standard set but the perpetually offended. I don't agree with his words here and he went too far. At the same time internal review and counselling would be the appropriate way to address this. The same people celebrating his dismissal and dragging him through the mud are the same whose crocodile tears appear when they say something feral or outlandish that is offensive and in bad taste.
