That's fine but that wasn't my point. The US is blocking the UK from sharing intelligence with Ukraine. That's some fucked up shit.

If they don't want to send weapons then don't but this is petty beyond belief.

The UK can't help them even if they wanted to.

On the plus side Europe knows where they stand now. No more pfaffing about relying on the US. They have to step up big time or risk the consequences.

Yeah I get your point and agree... I suggest a few of the traditional alliances forged over past decades are about to be laid bare under the guidance of the great swamp drainer ...

Usually in life, just like in the playground, when a new bully comes along and starts threatening all the other kids, sooner or later they get thumped on the nose.

It wouldn't shock me to see a new found "understanding" between Russia and Europe in the coming years....

Trump's total goal with Ukraine in 2025 is to stop the killing. But can you imagine Churchill in WW2 giving in to Nazi Germany in order to stop the killing?

I might support Trump on many things, but I am against what he's doing with Ukraine. Even if he wanted to do a deal to stop the killing, to my thinking, he could have played a stronger hand against Putin to force a better deal for Ukraine. By humiliating Zelensky - and I know the arguments that Zelensky deserves his treatment, e.g. Ukraine's corruption, dictator etc -- that doesn't automatically mean Trump should discard Ukraine's freedoms just to stop the killing. What about the Ukrainians who find themselves under Russian rule?

When the Soviet Union dissolved, it started off with hope as a new democracy. But over the years and decades, Putin has changed the laws so that it is now the old CCCP in substance, even thought it purports to be a democracy.

Same with the U.S. Democrat Party - they were heading in that same direction too. The whole idea of flooding the country with illegal immigrants -- and the Democrats pushing to give those illegals the right to vote -- was so that the Electoral College votes of California, Texas and Florida would forever be Democrat, meaning that the Republicans would never ever get in power again. Now you see why the Democrats wanted an open border, and why they did everything to stop Trump building the wall. And if the law-fare court cases against Trump couldn't stop him, they would never go to the extent of assassinating Trump.

When the Soviet Union dissolved, Russia was taken over by oligarchs who plundered the country and sent it into the worst economic situation since the second world war. This ended when Putin kicked them out along with the foreign NGOs. What he has achieved since is an economic miracle. Well its only a miracle because the so called democratic west fails to improve anything in their own countries this century.
