Channel 7 to show VFL instead of the AFL

And to top it off both womens and mens VFL teams are heading to Adelaide for the "Gather round" to tackle SANFL clubs ... could be an appetite brewing for 2nd tier sports after all.

The VFL is just AFL reserves for Victorian, NSW and Queensland teams. There are a handful of OG clubs, but the competition means sweet FA. AFL will pump it up though, and no doubt the public tune in.

have the NEAFL teams moved into VFL now?
 
Here in WA they've shown the WAFL on Saturday afternoons for the last couple of years*.


* I think - I don't really pay it that much attention, but I'm sure I've seen WAFL matches on weekend afternoons for a few years now.
