Reckon some refs would've dicked us and sent Rowles off too. Is the double jeopardy rule still on place? I swear the Bundesliga has their own provisions but DOGSO is a separate matter all together?

At worst, would have been a yellow, unless they thought the tackle was serious.
 
I can't believe this turn around! The pen was the right decision. Velupillays run and finish. Irvine buries. Stoked!
 
Get in!!! Great spin by Vellupillay. Good overlapping by Miller. Was gonig to say the move just before was annoying how we overrun each other. After the spin I was annoyed at the lack of urgency and movement but it played out in the end.
 
If you go back through the games we score a lot of goals like that. Defections are a massive factor in the AFC. You see Japan get many too where the first ball deflects and the quick reactions see a goal.

Certainly elated with this but long term it's about getting true ball players in the team.

Hardly noticed O'Neill tonight. Also there's a lot of room in our midfield so the wing backs should push up a little and offer something.
 
Got to get Miller to the continent to hone the brain and skills. The physical side could see him a real asset.
