I think the NPL will miss Preston alot more than South next year... Look at the crowd the Knights got on Friday for example ... who is going to bring that next year with South and Preston both gone? Oakleigh?

he was clearly trying to let the game flow but failed msierably, like you said lost control.... Magic robbed of a win... abysmal.

We went out to Marconi for some pizza,wine and football. In hilarious scenes the St George player headbutted the Marconi keepr and got send off. Marconi won but had to do it the hard way as St.George were much better early on.

When Iived in Sydney for 1 year back in 1998/1999 I was a regular to Spirit games, and I attended Marconi's ground for the one and only time for the Semi Final.

I only remember a 19 year old called Faria coming on as a substitute and nearly getting Spirit level.

The push is on by FA to make 2026 a full h/a Australian Championship run at the same time as NPL.... South and Preston U23s wont draw the same away support as the seniors do next year.....
