$5 increase is across all the NPL clubs mate..... Have you seen the FV board, their catering bills must be huge........... ?

As for your ground, all shit-stirring aside, its gonne be a great little state league stadium when finished.

Yeah, you have lured a few Queenslanders down to South over the years. The first one who comes to my mind was Danny Wright, who I think went down there in the late 80's in the NSL.

Oh really? I thought it was just Oakleigh being greedy, that's a shame. I'm happy to support the clubs, but it wouldn't surprise me if the higher price attracts less people coming to games.


Yeah I'm sure it will be too, but I'm nostalgic, I miss the crappy little scoreboard we used to have back in the 90s/00s haha.
 
Anyone else find it alarming that Victory brats scored more goals last night than what we have in over 2 months? Lol

This drag out on coaching reveal is getting ridiculous now.

I have heard some pretty alarming things around South throwing our weight around trying to prevent certain other clubs in Melbourne from being allowed to even present their RFPs.... I can't understand what the end game is here... sure we have all been fed up with the crappy NPL at times but instead of putting our heads down and winning the farkin thing on the pitch like we pretend we have a God given right to do, we play these silly petulant games... Oceania Dud of the Century at the moment.

Disturbing if true, regarding our possible handling of the other vic sides but ill remain sceptical, bc its easy to blame others if you cant meet the criteria set (more so it doesnt cost you anything to do so) and met by foundation clubs... my thoughts are also that YES i would want the bergers and/or knights there but thats the extent of it from vic and only in an expanded format otherwise we may aswell just make it a 2 or max 3 state npl and leave it at that.

The goal of Au champs was to make it truly all incl. Preferrably with canberra, tassie, adelaide, brisbane etc to rival the failing monstrosity that is the aleague effectively, not prove them right that we are at best of a somewhat tweaked retro revival rehash of NSL.
