Yeah thats a valid point ..... Don't know what the solution is barring having it every season... I dont think ANYONE would be pleased with that though.

Should have just stuck with the 1999-2000 model when South Melbourne were there tbh.

8 teams every year: the 6 confederation winners, plus the previous league winner of the host nation, and then... well, the 8th is the tricky one.

yes and no .... if the prize money is truly what they say it will be, it would be impossible to replicate every year if its not billed as an "achievement" just to qualify....
 
Have I read correctly there will be an extra short transfer window for this? It could be a novelty and the bringing together of clubs from all over can make for interesting comparisons. Some leagues are in season. The Europeans are strong regardless but also off season and tired.

Yeah noticed that this morning - interesting.

Don't think Foxtel itself had anything to do with that, but rather just the amalgamation/purchase by DAZN.

When I say 'Foxtel itself' I mean pre-DAZN

Interesting to see how much else Foxtel will now dip back into football

my bloody oath I'll watch and good on Fox, me got.
Koff times are reasonable early and late .am times plenty to view.
Ok depending how many top liners play here and there but there is heaps of worthwhile games to watch.

Inter Miami lets see how the MLS holds up.
Boca Benfica River Plate Palmerias Porto a Saudi Club plus the regular known EU Clubs imo well worth watching being off season.
