This shit is depressing. We're loosing so many quality young players. Why do they not want to play for the country where they were born & raised? I just don't get it

Everyone said the same thing about Lydon Dykes, then started in the 2020 EUROs but he also scored the winner against Norway to take Scotland to EUROs in 2024. All while we stick a japanese divison 2 striker whos main skill is just running around.

If croatia come calling it's hard not to say yes. Shit for us, but you can see why players would choose them. These types of players are different from the likes of Simunic - who was a complete dog lol

Put yourself in the boots and opportunity or even if it’s your son or daughter.
Be real hard not to say yes and jump considering hoping to make a career for just 5 let alone 10yrs making a buck after all it’s a passion first up.
Having parents like yourself or me from another country opens a door.
At the same time you wanted to make it here but over looked and also limited pro spaces.
Tuff call and I don’t enjoy these guys gals and families for it would pull the heart strings for sure.
