Australian transfers 25-26 Summer

I really like the Botic move if it happens. I reckon Botic has a lot of potential and he's going to club i'd expect a fair go at. From memory they needed strikers too. JS might be able to speak to that more accurately.

I guess the question is how financially strong is the Bundesliga and specifically St Pauli.
St Pauli are a bare bones club relying on solid scouting, free transfers and upward movement. Even though they play in the first tier and have massive support, it's rare anyone makes the move ''down' to them.

No decision has yet been made regarding Johannes Eggestein's future, although the promotion hero was a regular until a few weeks ago and has repeatedly stated his desire to stay at St. Pauli. The 27-year-old former Bremen player's contract is expiring, and he recently lost his place to Danel Sinani , who, however, increasingly plays from deep. With the Luxembourger, the formation has been slightly modified from a 3-4-3 to a 3-4-1-2.

Eggestein's future is in doubt, while Andreas Albers' is clear. The 35-year-old Dane was retained last summer, partly due to his personality qualities, and has made 14 appearances, but has recently been missing from the squad, along with winter newcomer Abdoulie Ceesay . The 21-year-old Gambian, however, will remain as a promising player, while Albers will leave. If Botic were to arrive, there could be even more movement in the St. Pauli attack and Eggestein could leave after three years.

Just ran the Kicker article through translator. Ceesay came from Estonian league I think.

Goodwin coming back to Adelaide! That Archie-Craig linkup is going to be amazing
I'll admit when my app flashes up as Goodwin scoring in keep thinking of Craig. Now I'll have to open it.

I won't rest until we have Goodwin to Goodwin and Iredale to Iredale in a single Roos game. Not entirely impossible either.

Austria is good in that it gives access to European competition. England, Germany 2nd tiers are fine. Italy, Spain, France, and potentially Netherlands 2nd tiers are mismanaged backwaters with big benches and a less compatible culture.

So we've lost:

Milanovic for $830k
Botic for $500k
Segacic for $400k

That is absolutely pathetic, to put it bluntly. Are our clubs being shit not contracting these players properly, or are our clubs being shit rolling over and accepting this disgrace? Either way...

Botic and Segacic contracts expire in June. I will be surprised if they are get any fee for them.

Milanovic has one year remaining. He falls pretty much on the average for Aberdeen transfers (450k euro).

If he were a better player he would have been picked up by a bigger club for a larger fee.

What are your favourite leagues for AA moves?

I want to track these moves and rumours in a list.

Have I got this right? Any missing?
