NPL 2025

Two magic bullets from Popey killed a whole board on Sunday :) Football is ruthless...

this was a long time on the cards, that was just the final nail in the coffin.

Knights invested a lot of time and money outside the pitch, unfortunately for them, no investment on the field will cost them relegation.

Panic stations at Bonnyrigg as they sit bottom of NPL2

i'm sure this meeting is about we need more cash to invest in players to buy our way out of relegation to NPL3 :ROFLMAO:

i went out to Sutherland on Saturday Afternoon, new cracking facilities. Kudos to them.

for anyone who hasn't been, should check it out.
Yeah I was last there about a year ago, good to see it's finished. Hopefully they put a bar in the new space, sitting at the top of the grandstand in the bar was always good viewing.

yer long long overdue good on them - the large catchment needed this upgrade.

Yeah, I was chatting to an older Cro bloke at the game ... the whole community is gutted with the results this year... They were so keen to ride into the NSD and the improvement to the ground reflect that... Hope they get there shit together...

was a decent crowd on saturday, i'm just not a fan of 4pm KOs

but they only have temporary flood lights at the moment, which explains the 4pm KOs

In early May, Football NSW announced the Boys NPL Youth clubs would be graded on a "Standards and Benchmarking" format, rather than on where the club finished on the table the year before.

There is a rumour on Facebook today that Football NSW met last night to discuss if the Boys youth teams would now follow the same grade as the Senior NPL teams. Does anyone have any knowledge or insight?

If the "Standards and Benchmarking" stays (which is the official advice), having a bureaucrat decide who will be in NPL1 Youth next year will be a political minefield that will be fun to watch. :D

Dire game on the weekend except the last 10 mins. Dandy unlucky to not take all 3 points right at the end.

Move onto altona this week. Where we dont have a great record and altona are in form.
