Probably the schedule. I'd say the loan has been a success because he scored some good goals and looked a cut above in many games. The dips happen but he got a lot of exposure and bucked the trend of avoiding injury.

Hopefully a Bundesliga 2 loan next season.
All while still being a teenager. A very promising first season in Europe for sure.

Iredale scoring again. Despite the level he's not a Maclaren type at international level I think. Some of those sprints in the first Lebanon game were really good at running a line and he got his goal in the second game. I think Popovic hardly knows he exists whereas Arnold had him as a kid.

Johnathan Aspropotamitis with his first game time in nearly a month for Pohang, coming on in stoppage time.

Connor Chapman and Harrison Delbridge both on the bench in the Korean second division.

Australian right-back Reagan Ogle, who was born in Wollongong before moving to England as a youngster, had a stellar match for Oldham and assisted their winner having earlier played his part in his team winning a penalty.

Oldham won the Playoff against Southend to go up to League 2.

This is pretty heartening after all the rubbish going on with the other duel national guys. Despite highly how we think about him, he has only played 4 times for the Socceroos. It's not like he is 30 caps in with a lot of skin in the qualification process. And of all the duel nationals, he is probably the one most likely to be called up given his trajectory, Juve and Napoli rumoured to be coming in for him.

So if (when, hopefully) Circati plays against Japan, it will be his fourth competitive international and his first since turning 21, so he will then be tied to Australia. Is that correct?

If he's already played four competitive matches I think that means he's tied.

Three matches under 22 ties as tight as one match after.

I think...
