The draw is apparently being held on 17 July, Pot 1 teams look like playing first and last matches on 8 and 14 October, Pot 2 plays 11 and 14 and Pot 3 plays 8th and 11th. Brutal short turnarounds for Pots 2 and 3 given the stakes.
However, the groups are being played at a central venue (will most likely be Qatar and Saudi Arabia) - so not really any different to a World Cup/Asian Cup, etc
A bit bias if they play them there, they should be played at a neutral venue.

Home ground advantage isn't fair no matter the seeding, Let them play it in Japan so everyone is on a even playing field. Im sure not just Iraq but Indonesia will want this too.
Correct - it isn't - but that hasn't stopped them in the past. NZ hosted the Final 4 for OFC, and the OFC single round-robin preliminary rounds were rotated amongst the group, but crucially not to all countries.
