Luongo bench. Burgess starting. Metcalfe bench and no Irvine in a side I barely recognise. Against a Hamburg side who they know well as their reserves face them often.
 
Silvera starting against Millwall. No McGree. Glover bench. Watts and Francois starting. Watts with a leopard print shopping bag pre game...
 
Derby lose 5:3 but not criticism of Elder.

Glad got Segecic but this currently doesn't help our situation. He must be picked 2 of the next 3 windows. Perhaps an arrangement regarding club time and travel can be made.

This terrifies me. We already know Popa’s arrogance and ego would happily let Segecic choose Croatia instead of us, whilst he plays Brattan and Caceres in midfield instead.

It's set up badly as Segecic rightly gestured due to his snub after scoring. Botic too. You know how Popovic is with his ego. Yeah, we'll have a wonderful box mid of Irvine, O'Neill, Caceres and Metcalfe fumbling around not knowing what to do half the time. Good lads but the WC isn't a charity event. I'm sickened. Same with the Robertson crap but it did go to his head. A class player still compared to who we pick.

Kills me how Popa gets away with this. The (remaining) football media is so soft on him, it’s so depressing.

Could be the worst Socceroos choke since Iran '97. You'd almost want to quit supporting after that. But you just hope the following generation is a golden one.

We had the Arzani and Tilio wave of hope which both faded. These other guys are proving themselves overseas and they just have that bigger ceiling. I'm gutted. If Segecic isn't picked it must be pitchforks at the next press conference.
