Balard with an assist in a 2-2 draw.

Toure picked up an injury (no details) and was subbed at 82'. Hopefully not serious because thats a pattern with Toure. Randers won 2-0.

Iredale was subbed at 57' in a 0-0 draw for AaB.

Italiano was subbed on at 62' in a 2-1 win for Grazer.

Bos on at 79' for Westerlo who are leading 3-0.

Irvine was highly rated in a 2-0 loss v Gladbach.

Ryan still picking up splinters for Roma.

No Younis for Jong PSV. Not in the squad either.

No Alhassan Toure for Ajaccio.

I know it’s a long shot but with Vicario likely out for the season, could Ange be tempted to loan Maty in January until the end of the season?

He has 124 EPL appearances + plenty of Angeball experience…

They could do a lot worse. So much football in next 5 weeks but Forster is just terrible. They'll need someone decent, experienced and the fact Ryan knows the system just makes it make sense not to mention the lower risk of a loan. Do they really think they'll get someone in of a higher level knowing they won't be playing once Vicario comes back? I say go for it.

Paywall. Ryan definitely should have gotten some cup or European games. A bit of a piss take given Svilar has been ordinary. Both mangers so far were on shaky ground and kept changing the outfield players and I guess goalkeepers have a bit of immunity. At the same time it appears to have been a lifestyle and maybe a relationship move. Does his partner spend tie modelling in Italy? Fair enough but Derby suddenly seems like the much better move. Gauci also must urgently get away from Villa for a year.
