Spurs host Roma tomorrow night so there'll be an Ange Maty embrace.

Mcgree subbed off? Hope his not injured
Apparently lucky not to have a red card on 13 and he's sat in the middle of the pitch on 20 with what appears to be a thigh injury. Could he much worse timing to be fair but we'll have to wait and see. Can hope it's a cork from the challenge.

Fortunately thigh injuries dont last too long?

Boro fans are losing patience with him

So what level do you think he should be playing?
I think Championship is probably his level. I'm speaking more that I think some people rate him highly as a Socceroo and would consider him a definite first 11 player for the Socceroos, and feel that he's one the best Australian players in the world right now. I've been generally disappointed in his Socceroos performances as far as creativity, breaking the lines, properly bossing the final third, and quantifiable output as far as goals and assists. Just my thoughts.

Thoughts on Irankunda? Has he even made the bench this year? I know he is young but many young players making even starting on big teams nowadays

He seemed to do ok in preseason.

To some extent he's been let down by the poor quality and technique of those around him. Popa has made some dreadful selections (and non selections) so we won't see the best of McGree until there are players around him on his wavelength.

For me it's also moves to bigger clubs with an incumbent. The Spanish clubs were just weird amd Roma is in its own troubled way. I think the culture is not the right fit when compared to the successful stints nearer to England.
Agree. Essentially, he's being signed as a pinch hitter to sit on the bench. How often are GKs injured in game and have to come off? The backup has a minute chance of ever being used. Ryan is 30+ now - he's obviously accepted his place in the status quo and is looking to his pay cheque. I remember him at 19 in that final at Suncorp. He's had a damned good career.

Bayern are keeping him safe in the reserves. UEFA youth league yesterday is probably higher than German 4th tier but he's got to get a loan to a higher level.

I heard Bayern don’t do loans for their youth?

It would be safer in the first team :)
