A very strange move considering CCM offered him a contract at the start of the season but he turned it down wanting more money. I guess he waited too long and no other A-League clubs were willing to match his self-valuation.

If Maty is leaving Roma, it would have to be for a league with a calendar-year season e.g. MLS or J.League, due to the FIFA rule preventing representing 3 clubs in 12 months. With his new gf being a professional model, perhaps an MLS team in New York / LA / Miami would work for them.
