Germain quits Macarthur due to standard of refereeing

Managers in Japan are typically subject to a "respect" clause in their contracts enabling clubs to sack managers who don't show appropriate attitude to game situations. I'd be amazed if foreign players weren't subject to similar clauses.

We should start at 8.15 anyway. It could be 100 nil by 10.30.

Have to say I wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be. We had a fair bit of luck with their lousy shooting and bottled out of a lot of challenges. Any other team that presses us as hard but has better finishing will trouble us. Some poor options taken up front in the last 20 also.

Absolute disgrace how hard that channel was to find. Why are they paying for it if they don't want anyone to watch it?

How can it be? I'd reckon Lawrie's opinion is about as informed as we're able to get.

Here's an article I prepared earlier (including some insights from Lawrie McKinna) comparing SPFL with the AL. I'd suggest most AL clubs would survive in L1 and the best teams would survive in the Championship...

Kuol hit the bar, had an assist and later had a goal chalked off in a 3-1 loss for the NUFC 21s against West Brom. Had a pretty amazing game from all accounts. About time.

"For almost 80 minutes, Lugano, weakened in terms of personnel, chased a deficit after a GC counter-attack completed by Evans Maurin. The final pass for the visitors' opening goal came from Bayern loanee Nestory Irankunda, who had to be substituted after a strong 35 minutes due to a muscle...

Triantis played 92 minutes on a yellow in a Hibs cup win. He and Iredale getting much recent love from the Hibees. I suspect Triantis will certainly be picked for the next NT matches but I wouldn't mind having a look at Iredale given the Hibs enthusiasm for his ability.

Never quite had possession for that last goal and a tackle from behind would've been risky. Otherwise, he's looking good and will only get better. In other news - just back from a month in Europe. What have I missed?

    Australian transfers 24-25 winter

Nope. For years I've read obsessively the forums where Australians are and the number of times I've seen the nationality singled out for being generally shit is countless. "Get all Aussies tae fuck... they're all shite. Why don't they stick to cricket and rugby etc" is something I've read many...

    Australian transfers 24-25 winter

What data do you base that on? Australian pitches are notoriously rock hard and Scottish pitches are always soft, wet and slow in comparison. So much so that that the ball behaves differently and players can take a long while to adjust. Not least as their soft tissues are used to the rock hard...
