Same thing for us at avondale
Tempted to just watch from home as all parking is only for players/officials and their bunnings grandstand is the only shade they have
Have the game and f1 quali on at the same time
No
Lalor sloga are a different club. They were on the same road though.
Florina changed to sporting whittlesea then closed up shop. Mill park to their spot in sl2 which caused a bit of stir back then.
Nah not disputing the distance i just think it's a good night out for people.
You've got the location, We all know you have a ton of dormant fans.
Just perplexes me the club hasn't tried more to engage and get that social club humming.
I remember our women's team played before you guys v...
Man with the location of south being so close to the city etc.
Why would you not give members discounts to come have dinners or entice people to use it as a pre game before heading out into the night post game.
Man I've never heard a coach blame everything else but himself on the sideline on...
Yeah man I didn't even manage to get food or a drink.
It was actually run better than ever. I think we need a few more bars set up around the ground moving forward.
Im sure they're already doing a review on what we can do better moving forward
I'll try get a marshal gig near you guys next...
Apart from CT and them adding a new star to their badge every year and the whole fv thing.
Whats the lore? Is simply them jealous of south and trying to be mates but then when push comes to shove they turn the other way?
They sort of were year we got relegated from sl1 to sl2 and the years we were both in sl1. Not many people but enough to be heard.
Other than that it's pretty mutual in terms of respect.
Few weeks ago was chilled, people chatting drinking together etc.
I was at knights / port yesterday
The upgrades are looking good
Such a big club and sleeping giant in terms of a fans.
Hopefully they can get it together as a strong south, knights, preston, thunder, bergers only benefits everyone else and vic football
Which other greek teams would you say support south.
Would say northcote/brunswick city supporters be south fans and aris be more oakleigh fans due to location?
Or is it a mixed bag?
We generally do have a decent away following but again it's all dependant on who we played and some games you'd just get die hards.
I'd say us, south and even thunder have some good away followings.
I'd expect we'd also have decent crowds against victory npl, knights. Dinamo, thunder...
It was crazy but we also aren't naive
Once afl season kicks in and the cold weather the crowds will drop as they have previously in recent seasons.
For the time being lets just enjoy the ride
What a night and what a spectical for aus football.
Credit to both sets of fans and clubs.
The injuries clearly effected south and probably the worst thing that could've happened to the young keeper did.
Regardless of the result last night our sport won.
