IMO Josh Philippe needs to be injected into our white ball sides. The guy is a weapon when in full cry. Also love to see him behind the stumps in Tests. Not sure there is a guy that has improved so much in such a short time as he has, since leaving WA. His 80 yesterday had century all over it...

Tassie still in the hunt, must win all their remaining games DC. Blues need more solidity in their middle order. Davies, Gilkes on thin ice. Maddinson too. Lachlan Shaw deserves a debut and bring back Ryan Hackney to open with Sam Konstas.

A bigger score cut short by a terrible call from his skipper.

Under used him for mine. Yes odd he didnt use MacMillan as this kid has already played for his country. Silk needs to pull the plug end of season. A wasted career.

Good win Tigers. Philippe and Edwards falling short to save their match, lost in the first innings. Both have shown solid improvement this season by either winning or saving matches to keep their state in the final picture. This loss may have killed their '24/'25.

Nah. Smith and Carey made the Lankans play like stinkers by completely numbing their morale and then the two spinners finished em..

Have forgotten that Tassie are a bowler short too with Neil- Smith out of the match with what looks a seriously bung hammie.

Tassie is in this match up to their neck at lunch on final day with three of Vic top order back in the sheds and still 210 to win. My danger man is young Harry Dixon who played a very mature knock in f/i. I know tho that he has both gears as he destroyed the Poms in the Junior Ashes 18 mths...

C'mon ump above the waist, a no ball. MacMillan robbed of a likely shield 50 on debut.

Blues attack struggling on a fairly lifeless Gabba as the Bulls build on their hefty lead.

Weatherald 144 and counting. Has not always been in control but is top scorer for Tassie by a country mile. I'd say he is now having his best season, having jumped Henry Hunt to lead the comp.

I am yet to see the official Presentation. A bit pi**ed off to be honest. Plenty complaining but falling on deaf ears as not found replay on either 7 or CA.

I am inverting that to brilliant by Australia. Is quite evident that our brains trust has been doing their home work on Asian spinning conditions with our batsmen following their plan to a tee by never letting them into the series due to their positivity and temperament.

Bowled 4 overs, confirmed my view that he was injured as he is feeling lower back pain.

Won us the series. The Lankan spinners had no answer with Smithy battening down the hatches while Alex scored almost at a run a ball. Perfect combo. I saw very few false shots. Incredible batting given the conditions. Also drew two awards, Carey MOM and the LEGEND MOS.

Told you this kid was impressive with a wide array of skills. 53 on debut and only he and Ward looked assured with the willow. You did not see his swing ability but I can assure you he has it, fast and late in and out swing. Had perfect conditions with the overcast yesterday to swing it but...

First win over Sri Lanka on their soil in almost 14 years. Warnie will be in heaven about to crack open a bottle of champers/beer and puffing on two cigs at once over a hot poker hand, saying ''I did you again Murali''..
