I'll keep an eye on the Mainz squad. Transfermarkt updates July 1. I've not bothered searching for any signings yet. They'll surely bolster at left back and wingback. They normally play a back 3.

Really happy with this Arzani move. Better football at a strong club. Now it's about getting European competition secured too.

Maty Ryan is our greatest Socceroo ever!

That's actually a very valid point. Pound for pound keepers at big clubs aren't that great due to having great defences and opponents often submitting and not attacking. Neuer had this for over a decade yet when teams tried he often got beaten. The same in the UCL he faced a different calibre...

I'm not sure when the draw will be made and if it'll be after the most recent results which may see a ranking change. Right now it's Qatar Saudi Iraq UAE Oman Indonesia Would love a Saudi Iraq Indonesia group.

🇸🇦 Saudi Arabia 🇶🇦 Qatar Hosts for the upcoming #AsianQualifiers Playoffs are now confirmed! 📆 October 8 - 14, 2025 Decent facilities but I reckon each group should be in a neutral place. Japan and South Korea seem very distant to ever trying to host games let alone events. Australia, SK...

https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19VTQobLJT/ Are their parents Dutch or is it grandparents? I just wonder how much Dutch influence is in their home. Do we need to be worried about The Netherlands touting them? :D

Who'd have thought Kasey would make it to Germany before Jordan, let alone the first division. Mainz don't have a left back currently. Only Mwene who is actually a righty. He could either burst onto the scene like Kruse and be favoured or an immediate loan out.

Great to see Bresciano at the game in Saudi mixing with players post game. What capacity is he in now?

The single bloke who survived... Would like to hear how that's happened. Theories from he was simply thrown out into the building and landed to a tee and could walk away to shit like opening the plane door and jumping out. Other theories are some random picked up a boarding pass near the crash...

I think they're may not have been anything too remarkable to be fair but he has poise and moves quickly with his decisions. This is compared to Irvine taking extra touches or using the wrong foot and nearly doing his hip. Irvine has terrible balance.

Thankfully now we have many friendly windows to try other things. I think many on here just want to see how our best minded and skilled on the ball would go instead of a few who have concrete boots. Imagine a midfield of Balard, Triantis and Nisbet with Toure up top and Irankunda and Goodwin...

Interesting to note Yazbek has actually be around a bit longer than we may assume. He was in the last Asian Cup squad. Like Velupillay, worked hard and played well and deservedly in the side now.

The reason for many posters' annoyance is because players like Duke and Behich have more lives than a cat. I'm so glad they delivered this window but it was at the very last. The problem is this masks issues of when they retire or we need to mix it up and no one else has enough exposure. Look...

Guarantee if Nisbet went to the Championship he'd stand out immediately as the little guy losing his marker and threading the ball about. The only way he'd look weak is if he were given a hospital pass or a ball dropped next to a big monster. Little guys should have a shield partner in support...

Segecic is another who can play in many areas so picking him allows for better choices elsewhere. I hated the windows with 3 right backs. Atkinson, Miller and Jones at the Asian Cup.
