Not 100% sure but I think Frank Mitchell may have played during WWII when he was in England with the RAAF. Dave Mitchell is a well known Socceroo from the 80s who also played for Rangers, Chelsea, Feyenoord, Eintracht Frankfurt and others. Scottish born but grew up in Adelaide.
