Probably a mix of all of them. We should trying to convince clubs to sign young players on 5 year deals... that's one way to do it. A-league clubs rip up contracts all the time, then said player literally joins a rival on a free hahaha...which is crazy to me so that's one way to stop the duds...

I think its a major issue for our league too many stars leaving for absolute peanuts. It probably wont be till we have someone that goes a-league > top 5 league straight away and performs till it changes but that's a world class talent which we don't quite have yet.

Really think Switzerland is a great place... easy to get by with just English and has some bigger clubs to move to that can then propel you to a big 5 league. Lot of aussies have been successful there. Half the league qualifies for european competitions.
