    ALM TV Ratings

Ratings are sampled from people that have agreed to have an Oztam box installed on their TV. There are 12000 Oztam boxes in use at any given time.. They then make an estimate based on those 12000.

    ALM TV Ratings

Pretty much. On an ideal weekend there are 6 games. Ratings are only for one third of those and only for that segment of the population that watches on TV. Very incomplete slice of the pie.

Correct. 10 Play and Paramount+ streaming numbers are not made public.

    ALM TV Ratings

Ratings only relate to the two Saturday games as those are the only ones broadcast on FTA. So in this case it would be Sat 25th - Newcastle Jets vs Perth Glory and Macarthur vs Melbourne City. They really should have had the MV vs SFC game on Saturday.

    A-league attendances 24/25

There are a few factors with the old Victory crowds. Firstly Marvel (then Etihad) is much bigger than AAMI and has much more cheap seats available. The entire upper level at Marvel was general admin. Whereas at AAMI, the only GA is in the stands behind each goal (excluding active area). The...

    A-league attendances 24/25

Kiwi home games can be 3pm eastcoast time, but that is 5pm Kiwi time. There might have been an early game or two during the Unite round though, but it is rare.

    A-league attendances 24/25

The surface is effected either way. Play in Winter and it could be a little rough from the Rugby at some venues (not all). Play in the Summer and we get hard pitches with the top surface drenched just before a game. Which there seems to be a correlation between the Summer pitches and soft tissue...

    A-league attendances 24/25

Question is how many? My observation in Melbourne is that with football fans (A-L or NPL), if they also follow AFL they are more often than not just a casual AFL supporter. They will keep tabs on results, watch some AFL games on TV but very rarely go to a game. Whereas with football they will go...

    A-league attendances 24/25

I'm curious. How many on here also actively follow an AFL and/or NRL team? I'm defining "actively follow" as someone who is either a member or attends at least half of the home games and watches regularly on TV. Part two of the question is if both your teams were playing on the same day which do...

    A-league attendances 24/25

Personally I reckon the attendances would be pretty similar in Winter. Some people would drop off, but others would jump on. Would likely vary from club to club. I agree, the concept of 'clean air' is pretty much null and void these days. The biggest driver of eyeballs now is the search engine...

Don't know if it was that much, but he was definitely listed as a designated player (marquee). So, we can assume it was a pretty good salary, but doubt it would be $1M.

The thing about WU is they now have really good crowds. They fill their little venue every week. So allthough their numbers might be small, they are at a suitable sized venue which is totally fine.

    A-League Mens 24/25 - Round 16

I like how excited they get whenever a Nix player gets anywhere near the box despite their being absolutely nothing to get excited about in this game. Neither keeper was tested. 5 shots on target, both sides combined.
