The " Coveites" hated both grounds. North Sydney oval ? Miles away from the pitch. Also the cricket pitch makes it not suitable for senior football. Look what happened when Sydney played at the SCG. Also, back in the day, they were Yugoslavs, not what you mention above.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

See that is where the world has gone wrong, if you call yourselves that, then it is fair game for anyone else to do so.

With the high standard of play in the A-League, why are the crowds so low?

As i have said before, i done 4 years at Leichhardt and Kogarah, and it was horrendous in the end up, shown by the dwindling crowds. You need to move with times old man. Suburban grounds are fine for the women, not the men, and it looks shite on the telly. The football world has in the main...

Maybe so, but there is no suitable alternatives, especially in Sydney.

    Suburban terrorists.

What makes you want to take on either of the two rugby codes ? We have five A league teams in NSW, and four of them coexist in the same stadiums. Rugby league and union, do not see football as the enemy in the same way the insecure AFL does. If you want to go after someone, start at the top...

And the rest are frightened of it. If it ever reaches, its full potential, then the other codes would absolutely shite themselves. Being an island in the middle of nowhere hardly helps our cause either.

Things we would like to see in season 25/26

You may LOL all you like, but most European groups were only three teams in the seventies. BTW, England failed to qualify in1974&1978, from three team groups.
