Auto-embed or not?

Id say no or at least give an option that has to be approved by a mod. Too much risk of pornbots if it doesnt require mod approval. Also my past socceroos games thread i plan to move here will become too unweildly haha

Haha it would only auto embed approved sites. It’s a small list.

Absolutely yes from me. It adds to the environment and discussions, and sometimes people in a rush won't click on links to view the talking points. But having media embedded is a winner.

Half the socceroos games are on youtube somewhere so it could become massive haha

I like auto embed. It makes it so easy to see highlight videos or get the gist of an article when someone doesn't post a quick summary (which is everytime). Looking at a html isn't real engaging. I do like it when there's an option not to embed if theres a need though.

I'm just so used to clicking the roller on my mouse to open a link in the next tab that I'm used to not having auto embedded.

They add some colour to the threads. It cans stretch out the page length when you're trying to identify text to read.

I can limit the number of embeds per post though if it’s too much. Right now it’s set at 5.
