Sign Up Now!Police aren't happy. They love to punch on.It's a bottleneck Central Station, bound to always have this. Their have been issues almost everytime around the Southern concourse.
The meeting sounds organised though, why can't they just lose their escorts and meet at some random alleyway kilometres away.
That way they are happy, police are happy and the media can't have a field day.
This is so called football related by the media. The fact that it happened more than three kilometres from the ground makes it irellevant. Football clubs are only responsible for what happens in the stadium footprint. So take your negativity back to the " off topic " section of this board.
so because it happened outside the stadium, it's not "football" related. This is so called football related by the media. Ok then , what action can the FA take, apart from none ?so because it happened outside the stadium, it's not "football" related.

Actually, it has been done before, that's exactly what they did in South Australia! It only lasted four seasons.Easy solution:
Ban national flags, change names, fold the aleague and start from scratch with new franchises based on existing afl clubs ... this should sort the problem!!! It will bring in all those "proper mainstream supporters" that will do away with all these "post efnik style" issues...
Ohh how the times have changed, and the arguments that once applied to chastizing the nsl teams are conveniently being backflipped...

From 1925 to 1928, the league tried to emulate the local SANFL zonal system, ditch some clubs, merged others, all to create these zones.
I think the only surviving club from this era is Port Adelaide, it probably helped that they were in the league already before these zones. They're acutally a foundation club in SA, established in 1905.
Now if you are bringing a national flag to support a certain player, it that an issue, no I don't think so.Easy solution:

Ahh more of a pun/sarcasm on the old as you can tell...Now if you are bringing a national flag to support a certain player, it that an issue, no I don't think so.
Now if you are bringing a national flag that may provoke people / fans of another group, for example bringing a Russian flag to a team with Ukrainian heritage that may provoke & may cause trouble, do you not see the problem?
Like you said devil in the details.Ahh more of a pun/sarcasm on the old as you can tell...
I do agree with you respectively - self expression is liberal but must remain within boundries!
I think the devil is in the details.. the problem would be with a russian flag at a sth game vs ukranian opposition! Not a russian flag at a russian backed club even against ukranian opposition!
Kinda like Hume City flying a Palestinian flag vs Preston! No reason for it in my opinion!
Thats fair...Now if you are bringing a national flag to support a certain player, it that an issue, no I don't think so.

Its no different now with the Aleague ... only difference in how the media treated violence in NSL days was they used the "ethnicity" card together with "soccer is a foreign sport" now they do the same - minus the ethnicity... NOTHING has changed in 20 years.Like you said devil in the details.
However, I do agree with you in the NSL days every brawl in the cricket especially was good old boys (and I saw a lot on the old SCG hill) getting wasted in the sun & every fight however minor in the NSL was held with fear by the eggball media of some sort of foreign war on our lands.
too many kebabs after the doobies he is smoking.
