I don't understand because last I saw poch was a good coach he took spurs to a CL final. Football you really go from here to villain fast

Don't think USSF gov have alot of time IF they punted Poch.
Though never know what happens, I think he and them know they have a commitmnet prob amongst their player group more than anything.
So it would be bad timing but hey, anything can happen.

For his sake they snuck through - I've mentioned before CR are no easybeats as they were long before but in fairness USA had more of the game so they deserved winning the pens even though I wished CR made it.

Looking like its going to be a USA Mex finale but we wait and see the semi's in a few days time.
 
Also It's not fair to call it mickey mouse it's a tournament for the region it's up to the teams to get stronger for it go up a notch. It's like people not caring about the Asian cup for us.

In my eyes winning a trophy for your country is a bloody great achievement

yes I here you MCG, that kind of banter irks me.
A trophy is a trophy no matter where the tournament stands.
The down talk re the English cups another eg, no matter IF Club or NT you got to play whats in front of you.
Not all trophys can have the same standing but its still a achievement.

Full time in the Gold Cup grand final. Mexico win 2-1 over the USA after their captain Edson Alvarez scores in the 77th minute, securing a record-extending tenth title and successfully defending their 2023 title.
 
Wonder how the USMT will look at this for you Poch.
Along with the CWC its really shown where MLS stands against EU and CONCACAF to date.
Got to the final but not very convincing - struggled snuck through pens vs CR, other games close.
WC 26 gonna be massive for team USA - hey rf974 maybe they should consider looking at some USW to step in :)

Mex was far more deserving winners, watching off and on looked better.
USA NOT 1 corner compared to Mex's 12 says alot.
 
Yeah it's a ok tournament to follow Mexico to good I wish other teams would stand up a bit
