Not sure how old everyone is here but we all have different experiences in life. What advice would you pass on?
 
Think twice, take a breath then react/comment.
Surround yourself with people who support you, and let go of those who bring you down.
Don't be afraid to try new things, and don't be afraid to fail as R_T_S quotes.
and MCG, LFC is calling and feck afl.

Why would you use a homophobic slur?

Surely this is nor allowed in the super strict forum rules. I was reprimanded and suspended for saying "wimmins sockah".

There's definitely a two tier policing in these forums....

I had the political correctness riot act read to me by pasquaii and his little apparatchik libellous....

But others can be extremely insulting and get away with it?

Speaking with my lawyer this morning he advises me that my suspension was "a clear denial of procedural fairness"....

And we will be looking at legal action if it happens again.

I dont know anything about that, but if you did indeed claim that women's football is a totally different sport than men's football I would argue that point also... They play with the same equipment, following the same rules, on the same sized pitch and for the same length of time... whats so different about it?

Whatever your views are mate, its not hard to "play ball" and have a civilised conversation.. If you dont like women's football thats fine I get it... Don't be so combative or quick to get offended though. Everyone here is pretty much a football tragic, talk about the game and throw the odd shit talk to whoever you want, it SHOULD all be just a laugh... anyway, carry on that's my 2 cents.

How much did your lawyer charge you for that advice?
 
Well if 'gayfl' is a certified allowed terminology on these forums to describe another sport, I'd like a written apology on this forum from the board administrator for using the term 'wimmins sockah'.

Yeah right. His lawyer would tell him that I can ban him for any reason provided it doesn't violate anti discrimination laws. It's no different to a night club.
