Laini Freier seems like a good player. Sharn was impressive against Brazil. If her sister is as good, we could have two very good talents on our hands if they develop as hoped.

Sharn Freier is joining the Matildas abroad contingent at season's end, moving to VfL Wolfsburg from Brisbane Roar for an undisclosed women's club record transfer fee on a deal through June 2028 which is also her first overseas contract.
Massive move.

Wolfsburg have been a powerhouse in Germany and Europe in the recent past.

I'd say this is up there with Carpenters move to Lyon.

Surprised there was not a bigger race to sign her. She is a quality player, but I think this is better for her. Seems that players in Germany tend to get a better development system.
