The 23-player squad has been named for the Matildas home April internationals against South Korea. Clare Wheeler is back in the squad after being absent for the past two international windows due to injury. Courtney Nevin and Jamilla Rankin earn recalls off the back of recent club form for Leicester City and TSG Hoffenheim respectively.

Saw some tweets about dynamic prices for matildas games. Can anyone confirm that?

Dynamic pricing has been terrible in the USA. Of course highly demanded events will cost more but the way the algorithm gouges just isn't on.

Should be outlawed immediately. Fuck this bullshit.
I'm sure Germany with all their regulations would keep something like this at bay but they also have the stupid admin fees.

can confirm

i’ll be honest, i didn’t even know it was a thing until now… that explains the disgustingly obscene prices

i couldn’t for the life of me figure out how the tickets had nearly doubled in 12 months, and were more expensive than the wwc, for a friendly!!!

i agree… it’s effing effed!

Ellie Carpenter and Hayley Raso have been medically ruled out with ankle and thigh injuries respectively. The Matildas are currently awaiting scans for Mackenzie Arnold, who was unable to complete keeper training Wednesday with an arm injury. Canberra United keeper Sally James and Young Matildas duo Alexia Apostolakis and Tegan Bertolissio have been given call ups to Tillies camp in a train on capacity.

Mackenzie Arnold's been ruled out from the opening match against South Korea with the arm injury she sustained Wednesday in goalkeeper training.

The starting XI for our opening match against South Korea has been named. Jamilla Rankin makes her starting debut for the Matildas.

Half time in the Australia v South Korea game, currently no score. Matildas lead shots at goal 5 to 4, with 2 shots on target apiece. In terms of possession South Korea lead 57% to 43%.

Matildas have to improve in the second half. Uninspiring so far. Maybe Fowler on for one of the anonymous forwards.

Emily van Egmond scores from a cross for the Matildas, but the South Korean keeper gets the final touch so the goal is recorded as a Lim Seon-joo own goal. Matildas now lead South Korea 1-0.

Matildas make three changes, with Kaitlyn Torpey replacing Holly McNamara. Clare Wheeler replaces Winonah Heatley and Courtney Nevin comes in for Jamilla Rankin.

Two more changes for the Matildas. Mary Fowler and Michelle Heyman come into the side, replacing Tameka Yallop and Caitlin Foord.

Mary Fowler with a shot on target agonisingly close to goal but ends up hitting the woodwork. Still 1-0 in favour of the Matildas.
