He never lived up to his potential, maybe made wrong moves or maybe attitude played a part.
Agree. He was sooooo hyped but then never performed when given chances with Australia.

Agree. Reminds me of that other bloke that burst onto the scene, Kerem Bulut. So much potential and then nothing.
 
The problem was he always performed as a striker but was regularly played on the wing where he was far less effective. He was an average winger. And then when he played up front in Israel, boom, he was carving up again.

With Bulut it was all attitude.
