Sign Up Now!I remember José Bello Amigo having a segment on radio yonks ago.Saw this posted on line. Would be cool to see a list for different leagues. I didn't realise we'd had that many Aussies play in Spain.

Only Aloisi, Vidmar, Ryan and Mabil have played in La Liga though; all the others, in the lower tiers. Bernal was on the books at Sporting Gijon whilst they were in La Liga but never played a senior game for them, AFAIK(he was loaned out to lower-div. clubs instead)Saw this posted on line. Chippers started in the socceroos as a left winger before being switched to full back. May have scored most of his goals in that role.I really like how Hill brings up those things. I think mentioning the names of those from the past reminds us and links how important the national team culture is.
Chipperfield maybe wasn't know for his goals as such but a great player and you see Irvine now with his fair share.
All he needs in his commentary is to work on his pronunciation of non-AngloCeltic names; his butchering of Spanish in particular is straight-up ‘Jesus wept’ areas..I really like how Hill brings up those things.
