If Cena wins, he loses at Mania - I don’t think they’re giving him the 17th reign without some sort of adversity.

Could be Punk? Could be Reigns. I think it will be of these two, especially since Rock is seemingly not doing Mania anymore.

As for the women’s… probably the returning Charlotte, since I’m quite certain they’re doing Charlotte v Stratton at Mania (considering Nia Jax is seemingly at Raw now). Would add Becky to that list, but I don’t think they’ll do that route again.

Left field option - have Jordynne Grace debut straight into the big time from TNA, and have her go against Ripley and have a banger to put her on the map (but not the title straight away)

Yes, Punk is probably the one I’d most want to see win. Considering he was probably supposed to be the fallback option to win the rumble last year too.

Just depends on what the Mania card will be.
Rumours of Cena v Cody, which if Punk wins, would leave him v Gunther. But Reigns is going to be main eventing one of the nights surely, so not sure who that would leave out..

Punk vs Gunther would be really good 👍
 
Isn't Cena supposed to be on his goodbye tour? Would be silly for him to win the Rumble only to then give up the title or lose the title shot when he retires later this year.

He’ll win the chamber match (and lose the subsequent Mania title match) I think. The story for him should be good ol’ underdog John Cena getting to his 17th title. I have a feeling he then wins Money in the Bank later in the year too
 
Watched it today with friends I thought it was ok the women's and men's started slow but finished quite well

Anyways - might as well make this a WWE thread now hey. Will be interesting to see the direction taken on Raw tomorrow - apparently both Charlotte and Jey on, so they’ll probably make their picks official sooner, rather than later, considering Elimination Chamber is soon.

Assuming 7 matches each night, here’s my 14 match card-prediction for Mania weekend:
  • Jey v Gunther (WHC)
  • Charlotte v Tiffany (women’s WWE)
  • Rhea v Bianca (Women’s world)
  • Cody v Reigns v Punk v Seth (WWE)
  • Orton v KO
  • AJ v Logan Paul
  • Bron v Cena (IC Title)
  • Chelsea Green v Piper (women’s us title)
  • Lyra v Becky (women’s IC - although not sure about that anymore)
  • DIY v Street Profits v MCMG ladder match (WWE tag - maybe also Pretty Deadly unfortunately)
  • Solo v Fatu
  • Women’s tag title match to fill in
  • US title - probably LA knight getting the title back from Nakamura
  • Raw tag title match - anyone they’ll try to fill in from raw on here probably, Alpha Academy, War Raiders, Judgment Day, Sami Zayn and someone
