So as of this week, I'm officially the reserves manager and the assistant manager to the Amateur Division 3 squad at Murdoch University Melville FC.

I'm curious - who else is involved in coaching or managing a team in the lower depths of Australian football!

Nice one ... good luck with the season ahead, I would be keen to read match review or general info on how your sqaud is going if you care to post.... Bizarrely I have watched a Melville match, nearly 20 years ago now (I dont think they where with the Uni then???) during a work trip over to Perth.. My colleague at the time was a player and dragged us out on the Saturday for a fee beers and a match... .

Hahaha gladly. We have an intra-club on Sunday - so my first time in the technical area for MUMFC. And yeah, Melville only in the last 10 years or so merged with Murdoch Uni.

would love to get into coaching but unfortunately , working fifo 8/6 makes it very tricky and not fair on teams , but one day lol
