Paris FC pushing hard for promotion while PSG put Liverpool to the sword. Wild that Ligue 1 isn''t on TV due to incompetence. Can't wait for DAZN.

Yeah I'm really disappointed we can't watch Matty. Wtf am I paying Bein and Paramount for

yer bugga paying for bein no need.
Plus no care for L1, never have tbh, PSG are walking away, no loss @ 26games 19points ahead.
Surprised PSG play that well considering the competition is so lob sided.

Common misconception. There are a lot of strong clubs and even the weaker clubs produce well at a grassroots level. Although dominated by PSG, Lille and Monaco have disrupted the PSG train within the last 10 years.

A CL title is the goal though.

Weirdly the Ligue 1 games I've watched lately have been refreshing. Reminds me of the Bundesliga 15 years ago.

True there have been those few and far between wins by the 2 mentioned but the league is worse than Liga having the dominance by 1 main club.
If psg don’t finally win the CL this time I’ll be amazed.

Your comparison is with one of the best leagues in the world.

On the contrary ~ my point is that you would know liga is 99% the 2 horse race - rare another club wins but for atleti now and then.
L1 is worse full stop and for sure no comparison competition wise to liga.

Funny, I randomly asked Gemini, Google's AI assistant if Ligue Un was going to be broadcast in Australia this coming season and it said it will be showing on BeIN Sports....

So I checked the BeIN sports Australia website and found nothing to confirm it. Then I googled it the old way and again nothing....

Maybe Gemini is making shit up??

I hope its.right...

Edit]

Then I asked Microsoft Copilot

Rights Holder
Infront AG was appointed by the LFP to manage all international media rights for Ligue 1 (including Oceania) under a five-year cycle running through 2028/29. In Australia, beIN SPORTS has secured those rights for the 2025/26 season.

So Pogba gets a new life Monaco signed him.
i

PAUL POGBA

AS Monaco: A-

At 32 years of age, having last played 90 minutes in March 2022, we truly have no idea what Pogba can offer following the end of his 18-month ban after he tested positive for DHEA, a banned substance. But, in a way, that doesn't really matter. Simply getting the midfielder back on the pitch is a win for the sport, as he's such a joyful, elegant presence, while there's barely any risk from Monaco's perspective with this deal. They're happy to see what he's got left in the tank

I read a piece about Pogba joining Monaco in L'Equipe the other day and the comments from that article suggest that the fans feel quite positive about the signing.

You're always going to het knockers but I think he's still got something left to give.

He might have a couple of seasons there then jump aboard the Saudi Arabian project....

Why not??

oh no doubt when fit he can play still only 32.......
His prob is mental - IF he can keep his head together he can be a huge asset for them compared to collecting cards and reds then he's in effective.
Watching him you can see the smart ones target him with the banter and you know he lose's it, we shall wait and see if he's had his head re programmed haha

I remember there was a little bit of 'big head' sarcasm aimed at him by the media in England because he used to turn up to training in Manchester in a Rolls-Royce....

And there was an incident at an away match at Burnley when Pogba left Turf Moor in his chauffeur-driven Rolls-Royce instead of travelling back to Manchester on the team bus. Seriously pissed off Jose Mourinho who said to the media that "His Excellency wanted to leave in Rolls-Royce...."

Do that in the billionaire's paradise that is Monaco and they will probably look at his behaviour as normal....🫢

yer though he isn't the first thinking they are royalty with behaviour as such mind you from the sidelines it has some humour.

Balotelli thinking he's bigger than the game, letting off fireworks in a hotel bathroom amongst other stupid stuff.
Joey Barton flapping his mouth off to anyone - having a fight with a team mate and going off at his coach/Pardew.
Anelka had a massive attitude.
Tevez just disappeared whilst at City and mouthed off about coaching etc.
One better than Pogba was Georgie Best living the high life - they sent scouts to get him out pubs before training or games haha, his cars/women.....
Mind you I luv the mavericks !
