IMO with the influx of so much choice today and the speed it all comes to you overall I do find it challenging to get engaged and excited compared to when you waited some time for new release movies.
Movies now are pretty boring, so many are similar, violence upon violence, its just all the same in the end.
How many Marvel movies follow the same and generally have lost the original DNA.
Bit like overdone Rambo etc of the past, its all just about milking $$$ suck viewers in.
As mentioned above "political correctness" has really changed the open kind of comedy I grew up with.
Some of the English shows on FTA back in the day were brilliant, (IMO they were the leaders in humour) never to be replicated today, one of the ones trying to work around it is Ricky Cervais, he's smart witty for me.
Series after series on netflix etc, so many are Bgrade crap.
Reality shows, ffs talk about empty mindedness - pretentious outlook and utter BS.
Games have no care for them, I used to unplug the leads kick my boys outdoors go smack the football around !
Evenings I get it go for your life.
Sport viewing yep a huge plus today, now those docos are worth watching on netflix etc.....
