Finally figured out your pattern and tell.

Every time you get beaten you come back with Triggered, a hipster level insult that shows your own fears and prejudices or an outright deflection.

Scoreboard is looking as bad for you in this thread as the table is for the Roar.

Are you Ruben?

On the actual thread topic, there are quick solutions like house sharing otherwise empty rooms that would never work out even (or especially) if government gave financial incentives to encourage it.

Personally I value my selfish privacy and fear the stranger too much to participate.

The unions have 'bargained' such high starting benefits in the construction industry that as I understand it workers get over $1k a week to walk on site.

I am making no comment on the validity or entitlement to those payments but from a financial perspective what that does to the market.

It is a form of Bimbyism (which I had to look up too) that we want problems resolved for the poor and homeless but who is going to drop their pay or profits themselves to support it?

The domestic abuse victims who end up homeless, penniless (that means having no money for the youngsters) and incredibly vulnerable are a very different group to be helped.

Imagine how many generous blokes would put their hand up to help a very vulnerable female with 'accommodation' based on the predators we know live among us

Says the most disengenous little scroat on the forum...

I mean who takes the foundation year of a genuine Australian football club in order to give authenticity to his own pathetic little pile of plastic franchise wank?

You're a fuken parasite!!

I like how you posted the topic and offered no solutions or opinions, just insults.

So no solutions, no opinions.

As you were.

These are the sorts of people arguiing that more children should be on social media.

Frightening.

people who aren't particularly bright haven't figured out that in order to ban children from social media you also have to doxx every adult who wishes to use social media

It must really irk you to have the bulk of your income tied to the very hipsters you use as an insult Monsiuer Barista.

For the record, I find you more able to hold a genuine discussion in between the essential inflammatories than the other controversy fiends.

Solving this ongoing homelessness crisis is probably never going to happen because of the bigger problem of having shithouse politicians on both sides of the very narrow political divide. But there might be one or two things that they could look at doing differently from the current norm..

As we've read from the ABS report earlier in the thread before spastic boy started harping on about his anti-hero, the billionaire meanie, Elon Musk, immigration into Australia is at record levels.

So firstly I'd look at Australia's immigration policy. The government has been deliberately pursuing mass economic immigration with complete disregard for its catastrophic impacts on access to housing for hundreds of thousands of Australians. And as new arrivals into Australia are more likely to move to the big cities this such as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, this tends to increases demand for scarce urban housing.....

Rather than just having an immigration for immigrations sake policy, maybe the government should articulate the appropriate level of migration intake given its economic, budgetary and social benefits.

And while the Guardian reading Soyboy hipsters won't like it, I believe restraining immigration for a year or more would give society the breathing space to attack and reduce the homeless situation and stop rising rental costs....

we used to have a govt housing trust to provide housing during population surges, however the politicians are too well invested in the property market these days, plus its the only reliable positive economic indicator there is they're unlikely to do anything to drive that down

Well, well, well. There MIGHT be a functioning brain there after all.

Sounds like you're repeating what I said here. I'm flattered you've taken the time to plagiarise me.

Yours faithfully,

Spastic boy, soyboy hipster Muz.
