Boring first half in the CCM v WU game but lots more action in second half.Mariners played well after the Botic goal though only scored from an og.The two other WU goals were the result of good pressing and passing though against the run of play.

Western United can play some very nice football, the last couple of games they scored some very good goals.

A talented young squad but they have made big improvements from last season, I think the league is too far to reach but they can be a threat to Auckland for the grand final if they can make it there.
