Looks like no hung parliament which is a bummer.

More of the same then.

Like Bandt said 'if nothing changes, nothing changes'.

Really need someone to come in and shake the joint up particularly on stuff like housing and royalties.

Just on housing alone alone both policies do fuck all for housing stock with Dutton's drawing on your super to buy a house marginally worse than Labor's policy on co ownership.

Yeah I voted up top for a bunch of varying independents/smaller parties, not cause I agreed with every single one of their policies but mostly with the hope the government in power would need to make concessions in the future around contentious issues, and not just have more of the same.
 
you didn't need to waste the vote tsf for what you did wouldn't get anywhere much, it was always going to be a albo win no doubt about it from way back.

It's not wasted. Nothing could be further from the truth. We have a preferential voting system. The vote gets where it needs to get after your preferred bloke or sheila is knocked out.

You say both sides are shit but refuse to consider any alternatives.

If nothing changes LFC, nothing changes. It's that simple.

But keep voting for the same mob you have your whole life and expect things to change.

I'll be voting 1 for our Teal local and the secular science party in the senate. Then a few others in the senate like the greens and then Labor. Pauline Hanson will be last. It's actually a toss up between her and those Trumpet fuckheads.

It's important to have a cross bench in the senate.

Your not wrong, per se, but to put things in perspective, no need for such angst, One nation, the Libertarians and Bugle of Patriots or whatever tf they are called wont win a seat and Darth Maul Dutton is flopping like the Orange Dictator he stupidly modelled himself on... A balance in the senate would be a good thing but, we are going to face a rocky few years ahead so a majority gov is probs the safest option ... for now anyway.

Yeah but if Labor has a majority who's going to push for big changes? Nobody.

Under Gillard more legislation was passed then any other parliament. Minority governments are not per se a bad thing. It's just a lie we've been fed to keep the big two in power.

At least the senate has a chance to get things added, subtracted and amended from legislation.

M you don't know my past voting - and the many alternatives are just sweet bugger all noise.
Thats part of the main prob - greens, patriots, trumpets, teal, gender this, hanson, indingenous, seriously do sweet f all but scream abuse each other at Q time, in the senate.
Most will be happy albo gets in, hand outs, hecs rebates, mediscare etc this is the ozzie way to tick the box, change ? seems to be always the same in the end.
Don't get aggro for this is the plain facts getting a $ despite the countless problems at hand.
I'd enjoy far better accountability direction but yer, somewhere over the rainbow its a dream.
